This is a play adopted from Nobel Prize Awardee Alice Munro’s “Dear Life”, with a Taiwanese culture’s twist to help evoke resonance among the audience. We used the suburban life that most people are familiar with as the element of the play, and designed the stage with the concept inspired by district culture centres. With items and small pieces that people see in their everyday life, we created dreamy and desolate aesthetic life scenes. The flow of the overall visual design along with projected images, different spaces and times are connected to the audience.
